About IEOM-China 2026

2026 International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management-China will be held in Nanjing, China on November 27-29, 2026.

Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM) is a critical discipline that supports the development of intelligent manufacturing, the digital economy, and modern supply chains. As emerging information technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, the industrial internet, and digital twins are increasingly empowering manufacturing and operations management, international academic exchanges on frontier topics including intelligent manufacturing, digital transformation, supply chain resilience, and sustainable development have become of great significance for promoting theoretical innovation, technological progress, and industrial practice.

The IEOM International Conference, organized by the IEOM Society International, has been held since 2009 and has developed into an international conference network covering many countries and regions worldwide. It is now a highly influential international academic platform in the fields of industrial engineering, operations management, supply chain management, and intelligent manufacturing.

At present, IEOM has not yet established a fixed annual regional conference mechanism in China, and domestic scholars mainly participate in related international academic exchanges by attending conferences overseas. The School of Economics and Management at Southeast University plans to take the lead in hosting the “2026 IEOM International Conference – China Annual Meeting (IEOM-China 2026)” as a regional international conference within the global IEOM conference system. The conference will issue a public call for papers to scholars around the world and invite representatives from universities, research institutions, and enterprises in China and abroad to participate.

The conference will focus on frontier issues in industrial engineering and operations management, build a high-level international academic exchange platform, promote international research collaboration and the sharing of achievements, and serve the national strategic needs in areas such as intelligent manufacturing, the digital economy, and modern industrial and supply chain development. It will also contribute to the development of related disciplines such as management science and engineering, talent cultivation, and the enhancement of China’s international academic influence in these fields.
